  2. Enter the URL:
    • In the address bar of your browser, type in the DuckDuckGo website URL: https://duckduckgo.com.
  3. Press Enter:
    • Once you’ve entered the URL, press “Enter” on your keyboard, or click “Go” or the right arrow icon in the address bar.
  4. Start Searching:
    • Once you’re on the DuckDuckGo website, you’ll see a search bar. You can type your search query directly into this bar and press “Enter” to perform a search.

If you want to make DuckDuckGo your default search engine, you can follow the instructions I provided in my previous response based on the browser you’re using.

Remember, DuckDuckGo is a search engine that respects user privacy. It doesn’t track your searches or collect personal information.

About DuckDuckGo

The search engine that doesn’t track you. DuckDuckGo is an Internet search engine that emphasizes protecting searchers’ privacy and avoiding the filter bubble of personalized search results. DuckDuckGo distinguishes itself from other search engines by not profiling its users and by deliberately showing all users the same search results for a given search term. DuckDuckGo emphasizes getting information from the best sources rather than the most sources, generating its search results from key crowdsourced sites such as Wikipedia and from partnerships with other search engines like Yandex, Yahoo!, Bing, and Yummly.
